Exhibition design for Door het Oog van Springer (Through Springer’s Eye): promoted as the most extensive exhibition ever of the work of the Dutch artist Cornelis Springer (1817-1891), one of the most renowned 19th-century painters of townscapes. The exhibition shows over 200 works, many from private collections and some of them not shown publicly for over hundred years.

Four thematic rooms introduce you to the world of the artist: from his travels through the country, capturing the situation of time most accurately in his sketchbook, to the presentation of the elaborated sketches, watercolours and other pre-studies in a commercial gallery, the elaboration and often recomposition of these sketches by order into the final oils in his studio, and finally the reality of the actual works in the private rooms of many collectors.
