The Center of the World expands!

Through a hole in the wall another cross is projected into an adjacent space. Stretched and twisted till it fits its programmatical requirements and conforms to the existing monumental skin. Erected vertically the cross divides the space into four extra rooms; a self-contained spatial whole as well as an inseparable new part of the Center of the World.

All four sides of the cross are materialized in a different manner, emphasizing its specific form and practical purposes. Two private sides are decorated with different kinds of printed paper, the storage side is clad with wood. One side is painted like the existing walls, which seem to fold and extend into the newly acquired space.
